摘要
毛竹通过地下竹鞭繁育。由于毛竹林郁闭度高 ,严重影响了其它物种的正常生活。毛竹强大的扩鞭能力对周边环境中的植物和种群会产生影响 ,从而对群体的多样性形成威胁。通过观察西天目山地区毛竹林、阔竹混交林中部分毛竹竹鞭的蔓延趋势和生长状态 ,发现竹鞭大多仅在土表 2 0cm内延伸 ;竹鞭遇到障碍后 (岩石、断面、水流、粗壮根系 )都采取向下弯曲的方式 (“下潜”)试图越过障碍 ,而不是分出侧枝或侧向弯曲 ;在调查范围内 ,竹鞭的生长仅有向前和向下两种趋势 ,这使得竹鞭下潜后无法通过上钻而回到土壤表面 ;入土太深或透出土壤进入空气太久的竹鞭将会死亡 ;高湿地带对竹鞭的生长极其不利。基于竹鞭的这些特点 ,提出了使用“挖坑灌水”的方法来抑制毛竹林的扩散。
Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) reproduces by underground rhizome. Its strong ability of expansion has influences on other plants nearby, thus threatening biodiversity. The expansion tendencies of rhizomes for pure Moso bamboo stands and moso bamboo and broad-leaved mixed forests and their growth condition were observed in the West Tianmu Mountain of Lin’an County, Zhejiang Province. It is found that the rhizomes of moso bamboo only expand within the surface layer of 20cm in depth, and rhizomes would bend downward to attempt to surmount obstacles when they come across obstruction (such as rock, section, water flow or strong stem), rather than come out side branches or bend sidewise. Within our investigation regions, the rhizomes of moso bamboo have only two kinds of expansion tendencies, namely, forward or downward, which make the rhizomes no way get to the soil surface through growing upward after they go downward. If rhizome gets into soil too deep or come out of soil and the exposure time to air is too long it will die. The soil with high water content is disadvantage to the growth of rhizomes. Based on these observations, we put forward a new method of“dig & pour”to inhibit the expansion of moso bamboo stands.
