Two new sterols were isolated from bulbs of Bolbostemma paniculatum (Maxim.) Franquet. Their structures were elucidated as stigmasta-7, 22, 25-triene-3-O-nonadecanoic acid ester (1) and stigmasta-7, 22, 25-triene-3-O-B-D- (6'-palmitoyl) glucopyranoside (2) by chemical and spectroscopic methods.
