摘要
文风受语场、语式、语旨的制约,不宜笼统批评所谓“华而不实”的文风;虽然英语语篇在系统用法上是靠形合连接的,但具体语境中的衔接手段却有显性和隐性之分。本文就英语写作教学中的文风、衔接等问题提出了一些看法。
From the view of its usage, English text is characterized with its hypotactic relations among sentences, and the cohesion devices in use or in contexts, however, may be overtly or covertly adopted in specific field, mode and tenor of the discourse. Such problems concerning 'style' and 'cohesion' will be discussed in the present paper.
