摘要
语言民族歧视反映了社会生活中的民族偏见、隔阂、矛盾、冲突和仇恨。本文从社会语言学角度分析语言民族歧视的几种现象,即语言理论和观念中所表现的民族歧视;词汇意义所表现的民族歧视;文字形态所表现的民族歧视。同时论述现代社会消除民族歧视现象的努力及其意义。
National prejudice in language reflects national bias, alienation, conflicts and hatred. This
paper makes an analysis of several kinds of national prejudice in language——national prejudice in
linguistic theories, in the verbal meanings, in the reflections of a language. It also deals with the significance and efforts made to eliminate national prejudice in language.
