摘要
根据耦合NLS方程,研究了线性极化条件下,光纤双折射非线性耦合特性,由此提出光孤子开关原理。研究了孤子开关工作的可靠性和稳定性问题,并提出了解决问题的方法。根据NLS方程,引入相移器,相移量多少由控制脉冲决定,并允许光纤相位在较大范围内变化。相位满足相消条件,控制脉冲与信号脉冲合并时刚好反相抵消,使孤子开关的工作可靠性和稳定性得到提高。
Studies the nonlinearity coupling characteristics of the optical fiber birefringence by coupling NLS equation under the condition of linear polarization.The switch theorem of soliton is presented by the characteristics.Studies the problem of the reliability and the stability and presents the solving method.Introduces the phase shifter by NLS equation,the phase is determined by controling the impulse,whose change of the optical fiber is allowed in larger range.The phase concides the destructive condition.The controling impulse and the signal impulse are compensated just in the antiphase when they are merged,which increases the reliability and stability of the soliton switch.
