The Construction of an Environment for Autonomous Learning in Online Education

摘要 本文结合现代网络教学的特点,提出网络教学课件的研制应该以“学习者为中心”来建立“自主学习”的环境。在Internet环境下突出计算机网络和多媒体技术的特点,结合课程的学科内容体现网络课件内容系统化,课件重点、难点、知识点关联化,模拟人的思维方式,体现知识的联想化,课件功能实用化以及体现自主式学习的交互化的课件教学设计,同时加强开发具有帮助监督和管理自主学习模式的辅助功能,制定相应的教学管理制度来营造和管理一个受控的自主学习环境。 How can the various advanced technologies such as computers, multimedia, the Internet and virtual reality be effectively utilized in online courseware in order to achieve meaningful learning? The answer is that new content knowledge in a specific discipline should be presented in a learner-friendly manner for students' comprehension, understanding and reception. In the process, it is expected that students will be motivated to acquire new knowledge and apply prior knowledge while actively participating in learning activities. Therefore, the design of online courseware should be' learner-centered' and aimed at the construction of an environment for autonomous learning. We have to emphasize the features of computer networks and multimedia technologies within the Internet environment and to combine these with the subject matter, so as to create a systematic framework for online courseware. In particular, first, we should create links for the different sections in a courseware. Second, the courseware should reflect a human cognitive approach and take into account the associative nature of knowledge. Third, the functions of courseware should be practical and there should be numerous interactive elements in online courseware. Last, we should develop subsidiary functions lor supervising and directing students' autonomous learning with a corresponding teaching management framework to create and manage a controlled environment for autonomous learning.
