摘要
本文旨在从近现代世界教育思想史角度 ,论述以“大学生精神成人”为内核的人文教育 ,本是高等教育的重中之重 ,不论纽曼的“博雅教育”理念 ,弗莱克斯纳的“学术自由”追求 ,还是赫钦斯的“名著阅读”运动 ,皆雄辩地证明了这一点。
This article, according to the modern history of pedagogical ideas, aims at discussing the most important thing in higher education, i.e., the humanist education treats the undergraduate's spiritual adult as its corn. Not only T.H.Newman's 'liberal education' and Abraham Flexner's seeking to 'academic freedom', but also R.M.Hutchins' movements of 'masterpiece reading' have proved this point eloquently.
