A DISCUSSION OF THE U. S. INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL STANDING IN THE 1990S

摘要 80年代美国的国际金融地位发生了巨大变化:银行业在国际竞争中遭到了较大挫折;美元汇率经历了先起后跌的大曲折;投资则从净资本输出国变为世界上最大的资本输入国……如何评价这些变化及其在20世纪的最后10年里的影响和趋势,已日益引起人们的关注。一、美国正全力调整跨国银行业的地位从整个80年代看,在跨国银行业中。 Under grave challenges from Japan and Europe, the United States still maintains its advantageous international financial standing in such fields as transnational banking, international monetary system and international investment. Its leading role is irreplaceable by any other nation.
