摘要
多天线发射和多天线接收技术(METRA)被认为是实现未来高速宽带无线Internet接入网的关键技术之一。本文从应用研究的角度,详细分析了在具体应用环境下实现METRA系统的一些典型的数学模型及其信道容量,着重讨论了两类关键的算法(使数据速率最大法和使分集最大法)和最近提出的几种综合算法的设计和实现方案,并且在性能上进行了分析比较,同时还指出了在实际应用中遇到的一些具体问题及其相应的处理方法以及METRA技术今后的发展方向。
It is believed that the technology for multiple-element transmit and receive antenna will be one of the key factors that affect the realization of high-speed broadband wireless Internet access networks in the future. From the application point of view, some typical mathematical models and the channel capacities of METRA systems in the practical environments are analyzed in detail. The schemes of design and implementation concerning two categories of important algorithms (data rate maximization and diversity maximization schemes) and several comprehensive algorithms that were recently proposed are extensively discussed, and their performances are analyzed and compared with each other. At the same time, problems that were encountered in practical applications and the corresponding solving methods are also elucidated. Finally the direction of developing the METRA technology is prospected.
