A Study on Application Short Columns in Tall Buildings

摘要 在地震力作用下,RC短柱常常因其本身延性较差而首先遭到破坏。因此,在地震区的高层建筑设计中都尽量避免采用短柱。然而,在实际工程中,特别是高层建筑中的设备层,采用短柱是不可避免的。为此,本文通过具体工程的弹性和弹塑性计算分析指出:从高层建筑整体上看,短柱的出现并不一定都带来严重后果。并提出了短柱的适用范围,以及当不得不采用短柱时可采用的抗震措施。从而为地震区高层建筑中短柱的设计问题探讨出一条新途径。 Under seismic action RC short columns are often firstly subjected to damage because its own ductility is not right. In seismic areas short columns usually are not used as far as possible in design of buildings, but in practical engineering projects they are sometimes unavoidable especially in equipment floor of tall buildings. An argument is described in this paper, using analysis of elastic and elasticplastic calculation for concrete engineering structures. From an integral point of view of the tall building as a whole structure it may not always lead to serious consequences by using short columns. A range for application of short columns in tall buildings and earthquake-resistant measures are put forward when short columns have to be used. Therefore in this paper a new method is discussed and studied for design of short columns in tall buildings in seismic areas.
