摘要
囟土白蚁Odontotermes fontanellus Kemner是安徽为害林木、水库堤坝的主要蚁种。研究结果表明:1.在一定的巢龄范围内,随着蚁后身体增长,卵巢管数量增多,一侧的卵巢管最多可达3726条。2.蚁后体长与工蚁数、兵蚁数、幼蚁数、整巢蚁数之间成幂函数关系。3.卵巢管数与蚁后体长、工蚁数、兵蚁数、幼蚁数、整巢蚁数之间成幂函数关系,4,蚁巢体积(y)与蚁后体长(X_2)、兵蚁数(X_4)、的关系式为:y=6.687e^(0.0566)X_2+0.
The winged female termite Odontotermcs foniancllus Kemmer has 11 to 13 functional ovarioles in each ovary with 25 to 27 eggs in each ovariole and 250 to 280 non-functional ovario-ies. An analysis on the correlation among the ovariole number, nest size and castes number as development proceeded showed results as follows.1.Within the range of certain colony any, the ovariole number increased as the body size of the qucen termite enlarged , with the maximal number at one side of the body up to 3786.2.The power function of correlation existed among queen body length, number of workers, soldiers, young termites and total population in thecolony.3.The power function of correlation was found to exist among the number of ovarioles, queen body length, number of workers, soldiers, young termites and total population in the colony.4.Correlation existed among nest depth, queen body length, number of workers, soldiers, total population in the colony and nest size. The correlation among nest size (Y), queen body length (X3) and number of soldiers (X4) can be expressed asY = 6.687e0.0565X2+0.0741X4Usually, the correlations of the colony parameters can be calculated better with the nest size and queen body length than with the number of queen ovarioles for practical usage.
