Yukos is not satisfied with its domestic strong position, so it has merged with Sibneft to become the fourth biggest oil company in the world. Before this, BP has merged with AAR to make up into TNK-BP. which is the third biggest oil company in Russia. American Marathon Oil Company will purchase KMOC who produces oil in Russia. Now it is just prelude to a new wave of merger for American and British companies in Russian.
