摘要
美国山核桃是一个重要的干果类树种,综合有关文献介绍了美国山核桃的自然分布状况、美国原产地的品种类型、面积分布和砧木应用情况;以美国生产上常见的14个品种(系)为例对其萌芽期、开花结果习性、坚果成熟期、抗病性、生长量(主干横截面积)、坚果大小及种仁质量、产量等主要经济性状进行了比较分析,最后对全美国生产上分布面积占前4位的主栽品种进行了重点介绍,初步提出了我国发展美国山核桃的建议。
Pecan(Carya illinoensis)is an important nut crop in the wo rld.Its natural distribution,cultivars and rootstocks are briefly mentioned.T he date of bud break,bearing habit,nut maturity date,scab resistance,trunk size,production,nut size and kernel quality of14genotypes are compared.The economic characteristics of the4most popular cultivars grown in the United Sta tes,Stuard,Western Schley,Desirable and Wichita,are especially mentioned in details.Some proposals for the pecan culture in China are suggested.
