摘要
文章以烟台港为例给出了一个港口管理信息系统开发模式,其主要思想是将研制数据库的过程与整个管理信息系统的开发过程紧密结合在一起,用第四代语言工具建造一个支持管理信息系统的全局数据库,最终形成一个能够支持生产管理的信息检索系统。文章着重介绍了一种数据库设计方法学,作为实现管理信息系统的主要工具。该方法学的要点是,采取一系列步骤,用中间结果将初始需求转换成概念的和逻辑的数据库模式,进而用它指导物理实现;对于输出结果的质量给予确切定义,作为保证实现目标的约束条件;提供策略、技术和方法支持这种转换,以实际达到所期望的目标。
Taking Yantai port for an example,the paper aims at showing a developmant schema for port management information systems.The main idea is that a global schema is built to support the managemant information systems by the forth generation langnage tools,and eventually it will be in turn,changed into an information retrieval system which will be available for the productive manage- ment directly.The paper lays particular emphasis on introducing a database methodology.As the princi- pal means for building the management information systems,the main points of the methodology is that:the initial requiremets are transformed into conceptual and logical database scheme by the media results in a series of steps,and furthere more,the schema becomes a tool for creating physical databas- es.The forms of the outputs are precisely defined in order to guarantee the qualities of results.The methodology provides strategis,techniques and tools to support the transformations mentioned above, then at the end the expected goal is obtained actually.
