摘要
委婉语的早期形式是禁忌语,它的出现离不开社会的需要。但随着人们对主客观认识的深化 ,其在跨文化交际中产生的障碍 ,以及其模糊性终究掩盖不了所指事物的客观属性等原因 。
From a historical point of view,languages are changing continuously,so are eupheminsms.The amount of eupqheminsms is getting smaller and smaller. Transformation of pople's thought,the by-effect of euphemisms in intercultural communication,and the unchangeable property of the referent are attributed to euphemisms' decree.
