摘要
由于因特网的迅速发展,Web服务器的负担日益加重,为了确切地了解或者改进Web服务器的性能,需要公正准确地评价服务器。Web服务器的性能评价方法可以分为两种:测量方法与模型方法。采用测量方法就是使用客户端模拟Web服务器的用户发送请求,以便来测量服务器在高负载状态下的各项评测指标。采用分层排队网络模型能够更好地模拟Web服务器,更好地估计网络延时。
This paper presents an attempt to evaluate performance of a Web server.Depending on Measure and depending on model are two kinds of performance evaluation instrument for a Web server.The former is designed to measure a system's ability to act as a Web server servicing static and dynamic page requests.Based on queuing network model,we provided a more reliable one which was named after layered queuing network model to accurately estimate network delay.
