提高EPP大块数据传输速率

The Research of Improving the EPP Transmission Velocity of Large Blocks of Data

摘要 增强型并行端口(EPP)是一种与标准并行口兼容能够完成双向数据传输的协议,但是此协议在大块数据传输中效率难以达到要求。文中研究EPP协议并对其进行改进,提出简单实用的软硬件解决方案,其传输大块数据的速率提高一倍,使并口设备得到更广泛的应用。 The Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP) is a protocol that can be compatible with the standard parallel port and can complete the data transmission in two directions. But as for the transmission efficiency of large blocks of data, this protocol can't meet the demand. In this paper through the research of the EPP, the resolution method of software and hardware is presented. Due to the improvement of the protocol, the transmission velocity of large blocks of data is two times faster than before and the equipment of parallel ports can be used more widely.
