The chip selection and spinning and drawing process were discussed for PET FDY. The semi-dull ultrafine PET FDY of 84 dtex/144 f was produced with high quality by selecting chips with intrinsic viscosity of 0.662 dL/g,suitable spinpack , spray type finish applicator, first heat roller temperature 85℃ and second heat roller temperature 123℃.
