摘要
幽默的产生一方面离不开语言本身的内在规律,另一方面,在很大程度上还取决于语言在语境中的使用情况。语用学的任务就是把特定的话语置于特定的语境之中,来探索在不同交际环境下如何运用语言的规律。本文试就以语用研究的一些基本理论为指导来分析英语幽默,探求语用规律与幽默的关系。
Humor depends on language internal rules, and it is also, to a large extent, determined by the language contexts. Pragmatics is to analyze specific utterances in specific contexts and find out how to use language rules in various communicative situations. In this essay, it tries to probe the relation between pragmatic rules and humor through analyzing some English humorous stories.
