The Latest Development of Research on All-optical Wavelength Converters Based on Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers

摘要 详细讨论并分析了三种以半导体光放大器为基础的全光波长转换器的优缺点 ,并介绍了一些改善性能的最新方案 。 Advantages and shortcomings of three kinds of all optical wavelength converter(AOWC) based on semiconductor optical amplifiers(SOA) are discussed and analyzed in detail. And several means to improve the performance of AOWC are introduced. Finally the prospects of AOWC are given.
