摘要
透明YAG陶瓷具有较好的化学稳定性、光学性能和高温性能 ,很可能成为有竞争力的用来替代单晶的激光材料。纳米YAG粉体的合成有利于制备性能优异的YAG透明陶瓷。通过在NH4 HCO3溶液中滴加NH4 Al(SO4 ) 2 和Y(NO3) 3的混合溶液 ,共沉淀生成YAG的碳酸盐前驱体 ,并采用IR ,TG/DTA ,XRD和SEM等测试手段对YAG前驱体进行表征。对YAG前驱体在不同温度下进行灼烧 ,结果发现 ,在10 0 0℃左右已完全转变成YAG相 ,最终获得单分散、无团聚。
Transparent polycrystalline Y 3Al 5O 12 (YAG) ceramic with better chemical stability, excellent optical and high temperature mechanical properties is a new laser host material that appears a competitive substitute for the YAG single crystal. YAG transparent ceramic with excellent properties can be obtained by using synthesized nano powder. A carbonate precursor of yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) was synthesized by a co precipitation method from a mixed solution of NH 4Al(SO 4) 2 and Y(NO 3) 3, with NH 4HCO 3 as the precipitant. The precursor precipitant is characterized by IR, TG/DTA, XRD, and SEM. The precursor is calcined at different temperatures. It is found that the precursor completely transforms to YAG phase at about 1 000℃. YAG powers with nanometer size, homogeneous dispersion, hard-agglomeration-free can be obtained by this method.
