摘要
自 1 940年以来的 60年里 ,中国社会教育机会分配形态的变化趋势经历了两个截然相反的发展阶段。 1 978年以前 ,教育机会分配从一种极度不平等的状态向着平等化的方向演变 ;而 1 978年之后 ,教育机会分配的不平等程度逐步增强 ,家庭背景及制度因素对教育获得的影响力不断上升。本文基于一项全国抽样调查数据 ,对这两个阶段的教育机会不平等的变化趋势进行了系统描述和分析 ,并得出结论 :意识形态及政府相关政策的变动导致了教育不平等的弱化或增强。
During the past 60 years, there were two different trends in the effects of education on inequality in China. In the period before 1978, education played an increasingly important role in the formation of an egalitarian society. After 1978, however, this trend has been altered markedly. The effects of social origins and institutional factors on educational attainment have been increasingly obvious, and the inequality of educational opportunity has been rising. Based on data from a national survey, we investigate and compare the two trends of educational inequality in different periods. The author suggests that changes in government policy and ideology led to a transition in educational attainment patterns.
