摘要
1949～1959年,党和政府领导全国人民开展了规模宏大的爱国卫生运动,取得了巨大的成绩。这不仅提高了人民群众的健康水平,起到了移风易俗的作用,而且充分显示了人民民主制度的优越性以及在这种制度下人民群众发挥出来的巨大力量。同时,党和政府也积累了丰富的卫生工作经验并形成了一套行之有效的工作方法。
Between 1949 and 1959 the Party and government led a massive nationwide patriotic hygiene campaign. The campaign was extremely successful: it not only improved the public' s health and transformed habits and customs, it also displayed the superiority of the people' s democratic system and the tremendous strength of the people under this system.The Party and government also accumulated rich experiences in health work and developed a set of effective working methods for the area.
