摘要
随着电力需求的不断增长,竞争日益剧烈的电力市场迫切需要高带宽、宽动态测量范围的小型传感器,全光纤传感器因其具有测量精度高、响应速度快、体积小和易安装等特点而引起了人们的广泛关注。在用于全光纤传感器的基质材料中,稀土离子掺杂的磁光玻璃因其各向均匀性好、磁光性能优异和成本低廉而成为首选材料之一,因而得到了广泛研究。基于目前磁光玻璃的研究成果,本文对有可能应用于全光纤传感器的高掺稀土玻璃材料进行了介绍,并对当前磁光玻璃研究中存在的问题进行了讨论。
Today′s competitive power market with its everincreasing demands for electricity has created the need for small sensors with high bandwidth and wide dynamic range. Much attention has been attracted on the alloptical fiber sensor for its high measurement accuracy, quick response, simple installment and small volume. Many materials can act as the hosts of alloptical fiber sensors. Of these the magnetooptical glass doped with rare earth ions is one of the competitive materials owing to its homogeneity, lower cost and better magnetooptical properties. Therefore much research has been focused on this type of glasses. We presented the achievements on the research of magnetooptical glasses containing high-concentration rareearth ions and proposed some problems in the current researches, which should be solved in the future.
