摘要
详细介绍了Internet中提供QoS服务的IntServ,DiffServ以及MPLS模型.具体分析了它们各自的体系结构、技术特点、所适合的客户QoS要求以及如何实现客户QoS.简单介绍了各种服务模型对组播的支持.在研究分析各个服务模型的基础上,提出了一个总体的QoS框架模型.该模型充分利用了上述几种服务模型的优点,在各个服务模型之间相互映射,相互协作,从而对客户提供从上至下的、端对端的QoS.这种总体服务模型具有两个突出的优点:为网络用户提供端的QoS保证;可扩展性强,这两个优点正代表了QoS进一步研究发展的方向.
This review paper covers several Internet provided quality of service(QoS) models including IntServ, DiffServ and MPLS, It analyses the architecture and technological characteristics of each model. After an introduction of each model, this paper summarizes what QoS requests they can fulfil and how they implement these requests. It also describes the support of multicast in QoS models in brief.Based on these analytical studies,this paper proposes a total architecture of ToptoBottom,EndtoEnd QoS model,which take full advantage of the virtues of the models described beforehand.This model has two prominent points:EndtoEnd QoS guarantee and flexible extensibility,which represent the trend for more research of QoS.
