摘要
郭嵩焘是 19世纪下半叶学习西方的先驱者 ,以探索富强之路为核心 ,他对中西文化做了广泛的比较分析 ,提出了求强求富的若干建议。其民族主义意识突破了传统的华夷之辨 ,带有强烈的理性色彩和内省特征 ,即理性地考察分析中外格局 ,探讨西方文化的内在价值 ,同时严肃地剖析本民族文化的落后因素 ,批判地审视民族性格的弱点。民族自强。
Guo Songtao is one of the pioneers lesrming from the west during the last half of 19\+\{th\} century,of whom seeking the way of prosperousness and powerfulness is the leading aim.He gave a broad comparison and analysis between the western and oriental vulture and a lot of suggestions about how to become strong and prosperous.His consciousness of the nationalism,which bears the colour of the reason and the features of the introspection--giving the situation a reasonable analysis,discussing the inherent value of westernt value of western culture,and meanwhile,seriously analyzing the factors of falling backward of our national culture,closely examining the weak points of our national character,broke through the traditional saying about Chinese.Standing on our own feet and improving ourselves are the steadfast aim that he sought.
