In this paper,the real annulus liquid level can be obtained by the material balance method used to reduce the gas displacement in the annulus.Meanwhile difficulties of the double channel acoustic well sounder encountered are overcame.The foundation for analyzing pump efficiency,reducing formation pressure and injecting water in blocks to supplement the formation energy can also be offered.The pseudo liquid level survey instrument,manufactured by the second oil production factory of Zhongyuan oilfield,used to pump wells with or without foam slugs.It is more suitable for the well with depth exceed 2000 meters.
