The paper describes the function of the car type tension device for a belt conveyor, analyzes itsinfluence on belt deviation in respects of principle, design and installation, and puts forward aeffective measure for correcting the belt deviation based on theory and practice, it has practicallydirecting significance for application of a belt conveyo.
