摘要
利用MCNP程序研究了充气电离室的探测性能,计算了探测器内工作气体和电极片在射线探测中各自的作用,得到该电离室的探测效率。然后计算不同偏角入射时探测器的信号输出值,并给出计算的探测灵敏度。计算结果表明,高压充气电离室探测60Co源γ射线也可达到高的探测效率和灵敏度。
In this paper, the MCNP code is used to study the detection performances of a gas ionchamber. Firstly, the interaction of working gas and electrode plane to γ rayis calculated, and then the detection efficiency is obtained. Then output signal values of a simulation detactor under different angle of incident ray, as weel as detection sensitivity, are given too. According to the calculating results of MCNP code, high pressure gas ionchamber can reach high detection efficiency and sensitivity to 60Co γray.
