摘要 生命科学在20世纪90年代已占据了人类知识创新活动的领导地位,21世纪仍将是自然科学发展的重心。根据中国科学院知识创新工程试点工作新时期的发展战略和“小三步走”的战略构想,在评述了国内外生命科学和生物技术发展态势和重大需求后,提出了中国科学院生命科学领域实施跨越发展的战略思考和加快重大成果产出的具体措施。 Life sciences have been occupying a leading position among scientific research activities since 1990s, and remain one of the most important areas in the development of natural sciences in the 21st century. According to the strategies of the Knowledge Innovation Project and the 'Three Steps' plan of development (2005/2010/2020) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and based on the analysis of the trends in, and needs of, the life sciences and biotechnology at home and abroad, the author has elaborated an outline for the leap development strategy of the life sciences and biotechnology in CAS. The author has also discussed areas of priority, research platforms and concrete measures in order to promote the scientific production in life sciences.
