I.An Important Source of Capital for China's Economic Growth From the late 1970s onward China started to attract foreign direct investment(FDI)and by the end of 2001,the cumulative number of foreign-funded enterprises established with official approval reached 390,484,with the contractual amount of foreign capital to be utilized totaling 745.909 billion US dollars,of which 395.469 billion US dollars have been actually used.
到21世纪初期,外资经济已经成为中国经济中的一个重要组成部分,与国有经济、集体经济、民营经济等经济成分,共同推动着中国经济的长期、持续发展。本文描述、分析了外资经济对中国经济发展作出的重要贡献。结论是,外资经济不仅推动着中国经济的持续增长,而且改变着中国经济增长的方式,提高了中国经济增长的质量。
