介绍中国的镁资源、原镁生产与消费现状 ,分析中国镁应用的市场潜力和镁工业的优势和不足 ,近几年中国在镁合金开发技术和产业化方面取得的成果。中国镁工业进一步发展需要解决的问题是加大镁合金深加工领域的研究开发和环境保护。
