摘要
茅亭子位于长沙市开福区,这一带的原始地貌为江南地区典型的低矮小山丘,是长沙市出土战国、西汉时期墓葬相对比较集中的地区。墓葬所在地东距芙蓉路0.8公里,西邻蔡锷北路,距湘江约3公里,南与中山路相距约1.5公里。1996年初。
In December 1996, the Changsha Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated an intact Chu tomb at Maotingzi in Kaifu District, Changsha City. The grave is a wooden-chambered large-sized rectangular earth pit with a ramping passage at an end and the front facing to the east. The chamber is partitioned into a coffin room, a head cabinet, a foot one and a northern side one, the first part containing a single coffin with a curved cross section and a somewhat raised bottom. The funeral objects are quite rich, numbering 53 pieces/sets, including pottery, bronzes and lacquered wood-ware. The burial goes back to an earlier stage of the middle Warring States period, and the tomb-owner must have belonged to the rank of dafu 大夫 . Good in condition and rich in cultural remains, it provides new material for studying the Chu culture in the Changsha area.
