摘要
歌德及浮士德精神影响了宗白华一生的人生道路,"拿歌德的态度做人"是他青年时期的口号。宗白华通过对歌德的人生启示的探讨以及对浮士德难题的当代解决,试图在艺术和审美中找到生命的意义和解决现代人的心灵归宿问题。艺术和审美作为个体完满发展与社会的发展相协调的中介,成为近代人心灵生活的归宿和内在问题的解决途径。
Zong Baihua is affected by Goethe and Faustian spirit in his whole life, conducting himself with Goethe's attitude is his watchword when he was a youth. Zong Baihua attempts to find out the values of being and resolve the problem of the soul end-result of modern being through discussing on apocalypse Goethe's life and resolving the dilemma on Faustian today (at the present time). Art and esthetic, as a media to harmonize individual's all-round and social development, become the end-result of modern being's soul life and a approach to resolve the internal problem.
