摘要
根据西湖凹陷多口井的资料,在原定为花港组地层中找到了晚始新世钙质超微化石及其它生物化石。结合岩性、煤岩热成熟度剖面、区域构造运动,将始新统与渐新统交界线上提千余米,将原定渐新统花港组上部地层划归上始新统平湖组,并探讨平湖组沉积时的环境为浅湖、三角洲和滨湖沼泽。这一时期的气候为暖温带-亚热带型。
Late Eocene calcareous nannofossils and other fossil organism have found in Huagang Formation based on the data of many wells in Xihu Sag.Together with the lithology,maturity section of coals and regional tectonic movement,the boundary between Eocene and Oligocene has been raised up about 1000 m than be- fore,the former upper part of Huagang Formation of Oligocene is redivided into Pinhu Formatio Upper Eocene.The palaeoenvironment of Pinhu Formation was shallow lacustrine,delt and lake swamp.The palaeoclimate was warm temperature zone-subtropical zone type.
