摘要
本文以非线性基底平板光波导TM模为例,采用图解法对其本征值方程进行求解,发现波导薄膜层厚度每增加0.5μm时,其所承载的模式数增加2个,但是光波导所承载的模数多少与其所传输的光功率密度大小无关。
In this paper, We have solved the eigenvalue equation of TM-modes in slab optical wavequide with nonlinear substrate by using graphical method. The resultes showed that when the thickness increase of the thin film is 0.5μm, the increase of the number of wavequide modes is 2; it has nonthing to do with the density of the optical power carried in wavequ-ide.
