摘要
本文主要探讨词语的习惯性搭配与大学英语中的词汇教学。英汉两种语言的词语搭配习惯受到各自语言特征与文化因素的制约或影响。固定词语搭配系由习惯使然,无理可讲,无毒可循。因此,掌握目的语中词语的搭配习惯对外语学习者来说至关重要。教师在词汇教学过程中着重讲授词语的搭配知识,帮助学生掌握词语的正确习惯用法,词汇教学方能取得令人满意的效果。
The habitual word combinations in English and Chinese are either restricted or affected by the characteristics of the two languages and their respective cultures. Fixed lexical collocations are arbitrary and non-predictable. It is, therefore, of vital importance for Chinese learners of English to get themselves intimately acquainted with the habitual word combinations in English. And English vocabulary teaching can hardly achieve a gratifying effect if lexical collocations are not adequately emphasized in the process of instruction.
