摘要
时延抖动是影响多媒体信息连续播放质量的重要因素 .多媒体系统必须能够限制时延抖动的变化 ,通常通过在播放端设置缓冲区以抵消时延抖动 ,从而保证媒体内及媒体间的同步 .论文提出了一种可感知的QoS参数与缓冲区大小的映射关系 ,在此基础上 ,进一步分析了映射关系中所需的媒体时延抖动统计特性 ,该方法为多媒体同步系统的设计提供了理论基础和参数选择依据 .计算机模拟结果表明 。
In multimedia systems end to end delay jitter often leads to the discontinuity of information playback. Therefore a mechanism that maintains the jitter and the skew variations bounded within suitable values must be adopted in order to preserve the intra media and inter media temporal relationships. In this paper, a mapping relationship from P -QoS to buffer, which is used to compensate for delay variations, is given based on delay jitter statistics, and its theoretical analysis is also shown. So the designation rule of buffer size of multimedia synchronization system can be determined. The experimental results show that the compensation buffer size determined by this method can completely satisfy P -QoS.
