摘要
带有n、γ幅度甄别的中子-γ联合探测器能同时探测中子与γ射线,并给出幅度不同的中子信号与γ信号。应用~6Li玻璃为灵敏物质的特制核器件作为闪烁体,将该探测器用于中子水分与γ密度联合测定,已研制成功了FT631型水分密度联合测量仪。本文给出该探测器的工作原理及主要性能。
A new kind of n-γ combined scintillation detector with n-γamplitude discrimination has been developed. Such a detector is able to detect n andγ rays simultaneously, and give out neutron and gamma signals with different amplitudes. A special device made of 6Li glass as sensitive materials is used as the scintillator. Based on this new developed detector the FT631 Type Combined Moisture/Density Gauge has been designed and produced. The principle and main features of the new detector are described.
