摘要
翻译批评活动中涉及的几个要素构成了批评的不同视角,翻译批评的主体因此有双语专家、读者、译者三种类型。文章分析了这三种类型翻译批评各自的价值和批评实践中遇到的问题,重点指出:就文学翻译作品而言,专家批评关乎作品作为翻译作品的价值,而读者批评关乎作品作为文学作品的价值,后者同样决定着作品的生存。专家批评、读者批评和译者互评三者之间的关系是互补的。
A critic of transktion may be a billingual professional critic, a reader who knows the target language only or a translation practitioner himself. As they play different roles in the process of transktion and the reception of a transktion, it is only natural that they look at the product of transktion differently. In fact, none of the three types of translation criticism is valueless. If the criticism by the billingual expert and by the transktor involves the value of a transktion as a transkted work, then the criticism by the receptor involves the value of the translation as a literary work, which is no less important at all. In view of a complete and authentic evaluation of a transktion, the three types of criticism are compensative to each other.
