摘要
1.引言
网络拓扑发现是网络管理功能的基本组成部分之一,也是衡量商业网络管理系统成败的重要尺度.拓扑发现在搜索网络瓶颈、解决交通拥塞、排查潜在致命点、增强网络连接性和网络升级方面都是至关重要的.拓扑发现还可用于实时网络仿真和帮助新用户决定从何处切入网络(安装服务器)以获得最大带宽.拓扑发现对于开发新型网络协议和算法,如QoS路由策略等来改进网络性能也是很有利的.
Auto topology discovering in large and heterogeneous network is becoming more and more critical to network management. With our experience in network management,we propose the main troubles at first,which existing algorithms are facing. Then,key technologies in discovery algorithms and important criterions to judge them are analyzed in detail. At last ,we example some good discovery methods in popular network management tools step by step.
