摘要
本文结合海底光缆的技术发展和工程应用,简要介绍了海底光接插件的技术机理及特征.并通过回顾近10年来海底光接插件的研制开发进展与现状,分析探讨了海底光接插件的可靠性,以及影响其可靠性的加工制造和使用环境等方面的问题。笔者希望拙文能对我国水下工程海底光/电缆接插件技术与器件的发展有所裨益。
Submarine optical connector is an important device in the submari- ne systems with fiber optical communication,The paper briefly descri- bes the mechanism and properties of the submarine optical connector in association with its development and application to submarine optical cable.The status and the progress of submarine optical connector, as well as the factors affecting its reliability such as manufacturing and operating environment are analysed and estimated.The authors wish that this paper will be helpful to the development of underwater optical/e- lectric connector in China.
