摘要
2002年8月26日至9月4日,可持续发展世界首脑会议(又称第二届地球首脑会议)在南非的约翰内斯堡举行。大会有6万多参与者,包括104个国家元首和政府首脑,192个国家的1.7万名代表。在为期10天的会议中,大会就全球可持续发展战略的现状、问题与解决办法进行了广泛的讨论。本文结合这次世界首脑会议的背景、过程和主要成果,讨论了世界可持续发展领域面临的主要问题,并对大会在人类可持续发展领域面临的主要挑战而提出的解决方案进行了评论和展望。
The World Summit on Sustainable Development, or the Second Earth Summit was held 26 August - 4 September 2002 in Johannesburg of South Africa. There were more than 60,000 people attending the summit including 104 heads of state or government, 17,000 delegates from 192 countries. The summit discussed situations, problems and solutions of the world sustainable development. Based on the background, debating course and main achievements of the summit, this paper discusses main problems of the world sustainable development, comments on and analyses the main challenges and solutions, which were concluded by the summit.
