摘要
近年来,国外有研究者研究词汇附带习得,本文从听、说、读、写四方面纵览这方面的实证研究,重点阐释其研究方法,然后论述相关的几个问题:词汇附带习得的前提、猜词能力、阅读任务的影响。以往的研究表明,词汇附带习得的产生必须以足够的词汇量为基础,语境因素对猜词有很大的帮助,"投入量"大的阅读任务有助于词汇附带习得。这些发现为外语教学提供了有益的启示。
Studies of incidental vocabulary acquisition (IVA) in second language learning have received increasing attention abroad. This paper first reviews the studies in relation to listening, speaking, reading and writing, focusing on methodology. Four issues are then discussed: the necessary condition for the occurrence of IVA, the ability of guessing at the meaning of new words and the influence of reading task on IVA.
