摘要
自然语言的拟象性是近年来形态学、句法学、语言类型学以及认知语言学研究的重要内容之一。本文主要讨论了自然语言词序的拟象性 ,尤其是凝固词的拟象性问题 ,并认为词序主要受四个原则的支配 :图象序列原则、与说话人接近原则、邻近拟象原则以及文化规约拟象原则。此外 ,还对英语的“rightandleft”和汉语的“左右”
The iconicity of natural language has been one of the most important parts in the study of morphology, syntax, linguistic typology and cognitive linguistics. The paper chiefly probes into the word order in natural language, especially that of freezes. It shows that English word order is mainly governed by four principles: iconic sequence, closeness to the speaker, proximity iconicity, and conventional cultural iconicity. In addition, Section 4 has a detailed contrastive study of the English freeze 'right and left' and the Chinese 'zuoyou'.
