Synthesis and liquid crystal behavior of 3-alkoxy-6-(4-methylphenyl)pyridazine

摘要 Eight new 3alkoxy6(4methylphenyl)pyridazines which contain a benzene ring,an alkoxyl group of different length were synthesized through the crosscoupling reaction of 3halo6alkoxypyridazines with 4methylphenylborate in the presence of palladium catalyst.Their mesogenic behaviors were studied through DSC and optical microscope.The length of the terminal chain can affect the transition and clearing point temperatures of the complexes,but has little influence on the temperature range of mesophases.
