摘要
本文以系统功能语言学关于语境、情态和人际功能的论述为出发点,应用现代文体学理论,尝试对新闻访谈英语进行研究,从电视新闻访谈英语的话语层面、词汇/语法层面以及情态功能方面讨论和描述其文体特征,并指出其人际意义特点.
Based on functional grammar's account of context, modality and interpersonal meaning as well as modern theories of stylistics, the paper tries to study the style of news interview English from the different levels: discourse level, lexical-grammar level, and the modality functions, and it notes that the style of news interview has the features of interpersonal meaning.
