Jianghui 364 is a new restorer line developed from hybridization of restorer lines Taiyin 1, IR30 and Minghui 63 by the Breeding Center of Chuanfeng Seeds Industry, Sichuan, China. It is characteristic of strong restoring ability, good combining ability and high seed production yield. A group of F 1 hybrids derived from Jianghui 364 have been certified and released to commercial production. Among them, Gangyou 364 was certified in Sichuan in 1999 and nationwide in 2000 with an accumulated planting area of 7.72 million hectares in and outside Sichuan Province by 2001. 80 You 364, Jinyou 364 and Zhongyou 2 (Zhong 9 A/Jianghui 364) were also certified in Sichuan in 2001, 2001 and 2002, respectively.
