Modern long- distance education is a kind of globalized education system, which takes full advantage of the advanced computer and internet technology. One important method of putting this system into practice is to use online multimedia teaching courseware. The paper explores the conception, software tools, project skills and other factors, which should be taken into consideration during the process of utilizing this method.
