摘要
批评语言学通过语言分析来展示语言和社会的关系,尤其是语言、权力和意识形态之间的关系。通过对VOA和BBC所播出的围绕同一事件的两则新闻作批评性分析和比较,考察意识形态对语言运用的影响,以及语言通过其各种表现方式的运用来影响和介入人们的意识领域。
Critical linguistics which concerns in the meaning encoded in the language of a text, studies connections among language, power and ideology. In this paper, the relationships among language, power and ideology are discussed, and two newscasts from VOA and BBC, are analyzed, revealing how language uses encoding ideological patterns to represent reality. In college listening teaching class, the critical analysis will help to guide students in forming a right judgment and evaluation on their listening material.
